| 1. Theme for the Year “SEMPER EXCELSIUS – ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST” |

| We are pleased to announce that the theme for the new year is “Semper Excelsius – Always Do Your Best”. We hope that together as a family of Stella Maris students, parents and staff; we will always do our best to achieve the noble mission and objectives of our school. |

| 2. PMR Results 2012 |
| |
| A total number of 113 students sat for the PMR Exam 2012. We are pleased to announce that: |
| i. All core subjects obtained 100% passes except for Sejarah (99.1% - only one student failed). |
| ii. 40 students (35.4%) scored 6A’s and above compared to 30 students (32.3%) in 2011. |
| iv. The top three subjects with the highest percentage of A’s are English 91.2%, Mathematics 85.0% and Science 71.7%. |
| We congratulate all our 2012 PMR students, parents and teachers for their hard work and dedication. |
